Hello one and all!

How is everyone going? I’m going very well if I do say so myself. Mainly because, over the space of the last week, I have been nominated to do not one, not two but FIVE tags!

I am absolutely amazed to say the least! I must give a warm thank you to all of these amazing people in advance for making this possible. Thank you to Pip Squeak, Dark Charm, MarieCrz, The Simple Beginner, Rebekahrrn, and Beauty, for Good. All of their blogs are awesome; I highly recommend that you check them out immediately!

Not So ‘Pretty’, Girls?

It was only very recently that Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears’ collaboration ‘Pretty Girls’ was released for the world to hear, and needless to say it was everything that we would expect of a Britney/Iggy collaboration. Dance routine? Check. Rap section? Check. Catchy hook? Check. After only hearing the song once I was actually catching myself wandering around the house singing the chorus! Britney and Iggy’s song is certainly a contender for the most catchy song of the American summer, a spot that was arguably held by Iggy’s smash-hit ‘Fancy’ last year. However, is this song really the piece of fun, pop goodness that it seems, or is there something a little less sweet hidden beneath the sugar-coating?

Celebrities and Feminism

Hey everyone!

You all know that when I want to get pumped up for something (whether that be for a party, an exam or even a shift at work) there is one thing that I will do consistently no matter what the situation, and that is dance. Something feels so liberating about dancing to your favourite songs when no one is looking! However, one song that always makes me feel ready to take on the world whether I’m dancing or not is ***Flawless by Beyonce. When that song is blasting through my earphones I feel so strong and empowered, like nothing can stop me as I take on the day ahead. Makeup is Sexist?!

Hey everyone!

How are you all going?

Now, there is no denying that I am a fairly shy person. Whenever there’s a discussion in one of my tutorials I tend to shrink into the background, even if I have an opinion that I desperately want to be heard. I guess I’m a little bit nervous of what people will think, which I know that I shouldn’t be. Everybody is allowed to have an opinion, no matter how ludicrous it might seem! However, there was one instance recently where, for some reason, I just couldn’t hold my tongue.

Can We All Talk About Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood Music Video?

Alrighty, emergency blog post time!

I’m not usually one for breaking out of my blogging routine, however there are times where something astronomically important/extraordinary happens and I feel I need to share my views about it with the world. I was just planning on having a lazy day today, leaving off posting until Tuesday and having a bit of a break.

However, when I noticed a certain little article in my news feed, everything changed.

Every. Thing. Changed.

But Daisy, what happened? You may ask.

I’ll tell you what happened.

I Overspent Again! (Here’s What I Have To Show For It)

Hello hello hellooo….

How’s everyone going?
Now, you all probably know that I love online shopping. However, sometimes it is safe to say that there are certain periods in my life where I will go completely overboard.  And this isn’t just a little bit overboard; this is so far overboard that you can’t even see the ship anymore and you’re forced to dog-paddle to the nearest island. This is so far overboard that the captain has to turn around the ship, put on all of the beacons and scan every square inch of ocean to find you. This is so far overboard that the passengers from the ship have become so worried that they have started up an impromptu search party and are going out in lifeboats, scouring the ocean in the hopes that they will find you.

So basically, I have a little bit of a problem! (And no, that problem isn’t stretching metaphors to their breaking point; that’s a different problem entirely!)
